A stripped down experience in simple living, community and spiritual practice
Retreat is full
- Two simple meals a day (we will take turns cooking and cleaning) (morning and mid-day). We will be adopting the Buddhist monastic tradition of no meals past mid-day. We will have some simple evening snacks available for anyone who would like them.
- The texts we will be exploring this retreat are the Saṁyuktāgama, Nidana Samyutta
- Two hours of meditation each day
- Silent time and some time for sharing and talking
- Farm and gardening work together
- Shared Chores
- Camping under the stars
- Limited to a very small group
