Non-traditional Consulting and guidance:

Thank you for reaching out to me. Here is a little information about my work, cost, and other general considerations. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to schedule an initial call.

What I do:

I work with a vast range of professionals with meditation and what I call Scope-Fluidity.

My work is not therapy (all though it might be therapeutic) and it is also not about achieving optimal flow states or super human excellence. Rather I am interested in helping people touch on the intimacy of what is actually happening in their lives with a quality of wakefulness, equanimity and presence.

This kind of presence is directly correlated not only with quality of life but also with harmony at home and the work place.

Scope Fluidity

Many of my clients find themselves in transitions that are proving difficult for them to navigate and gain perspective on.

Scope-Fluidity is the ability to see and fluctuate between both the micro and macro aspects of our lives. For example I often work with people as a kind of think tank for new ways of approaching the micro details of their personal or professional lives while also helping them see the larger macro patterns and implications that are usually invisible while in the thick of the weeds.

Meditation consulting:

Many of my clients come to me out of an interest in deepening (or beginning) their meditation practice. I am not married to any specific modality but have quite a bit of experience with many of them. I have found that we are all so different and we will connect with, and benefit from different styles of meditation. I have a great respect for and experience with  many different traditions. (Zen, Christian, Dzogchen, Mahamudra, TM, Mahasi Noting, different styles of Vipassana, Vajrayana, Stage Based Approach (TMI), MBSR, TWIM, Mahayana, Theravadan, and a variety of secular practices.)

I often start clients off with the strong foundation provided in a stage based approach. A stage based approach is like a road map of the terrain. From there we look at what "car" they would like to travel that territory in.

Cost and What to Expect:

Individual sessions are $150.

Sessions are one hour but if circumstances call for it I keep my schedule open to allow for 75 mins.

Another Unique Aspect Of My Work:
After the session you will get a small summary emailed to you of some of the key ideas we discussed as well as any take-home exercises we discussed.

How often do we meet?:

This really varies a great deal and is totally up to you on what feels the most supportive.

I have worked with clients ranging from one-time sessions to meeting daily for periods of time. Most clients that I have worked with steadily have met with me once a week or twice a month. Some of them have then gone off to work with me quarterly. But again this is all totally up to you.

There is never any pressure to schedule or continue work together.

making payments
I ask that payments be made within 24 hours of our time together.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I also offer a sliding scale for individuals who are struggling financially.
