Finding Wholeness
The work I do is not about solving problems but about having a richer and more whole conversation around the meaning of one's journey. Most of my clients are mentally healthy professionals who are dealing with difficult life transitions. Sometimes clients are not in any crises, rather they are just wanting to deepen their lives, and we work as a kind of think-tank team to explore all the nuances of where they find themselves. Often clients are dealing with life transitions involving; loss of meaning, grief, fear, or anger and an inability to imagine a next step. I am not interested in "life hacks", "optimal performance", or "evidence based coping strategies". While there is a place for all of these things they can often bypass the gift of increased wholeness. A wholeness one finds when they enter into a conscious intimacy with the transitional space they themselves in. In life transitions we might find that the old modes of navigation we have typically relied on are no longer applicable. What looks like a "problem" rarely is. More often it is an opening; a small door, that if we approach with conscious clarity and vulnerability, can open into a new type of presence we might not even have imagined possible. Meditation I also work one-on-one with individuals who would like to deepen in or begin a serious meditation practice. Meditation is the intentional, on-going practice, of working on specific cognitive and emotional skills for the purpose of greater states of awakening and well-being. I can help you understand how that process unfolds and together we will build a do-able training program that fits your unique life situation. |
Individual sessions are $150. Sessions are one hour but if circumstances call for it I keep my schedule open to allow for slightly extended calls. Another Unique Aspect Of My Work: After the session you will get a summary emailed to you of some of the key ideas we discussed as well as any take-home exercises we discussed. |
How often do we meet?
This really varies a great deal and is totally up to you on what feels the most supportive.
I have worked with clients ranging from one-time sessions to meeting daily for periods of time. Most clients that I have worked with steadily have met with me once a week or twice a month. Some of them have then gone on to work with me quarterly.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I also offer a sliding scale for individuals who are struggling financially.
