Sanctum:
A Three Day Live Stream Retreat

LIVE Retreat //
Sanctum- An Embodied Approach to Finding Refuge in The Midst of the Unknown
WITH WILL DUNCAN
One of the foundations of Buddhist practice is a concept called 'taking refuge in the three jewels.' When we step back a little we realize that these three refuges are archetypal mind states found in most traditions.

In this on-line retreat we will explore how to use these three archetypes as tools to help us move into greater states of ease and awakening in the midst of discomfort and the unknown.
  • the theoretical framework of these three states
  • the embodied toolbox for strengthening and resting in refuge throughout the day
  • guided meditations
  • group discussion
  • short self-guided off-line activities for infusing joy into practice
Appropriate for beginners and advanced practitioners alike and for all people regardless of beliefs.

(Optional Bonus: Will will be sharing some of his favorite vegan recipes from long retreat. These will go out ahead of time as an optional meal guide for the weekend if you want to plan ahead and join-in on learning some new dishes particularly suited to retreat.)

Two ways of approaching this retreat:
1. The first one is to fold the retreat into your day-to-day lives. We will meet up for group times listed above and then I will be offering some practices to do in the midst of your family life and daily commitments.

2. The second option is to do this as a full silent retreat weekend. One useful way of doing this, if you have the option, is to actually rent an aribnb or find a place where you can be alone and undisturbed.
